Japanese Samurai Sword : Gold Bamboo Do

This sword was 100% handcrafted by Corea Swordsmith Factory's Swordsmith with 7 years of experience.

It is crafted in a Japanese Iaido Sword Style and the name comes from the bamboo and its leaves on the Tsuba, hence the name GOLD BAMBOO DO.

This sword is for cutting Bamboo and Tatami.

The blade was forged by hand hammering SK-5 steel and by the traditional method of dipping in water and heat treating. The blade is also hand ground on the whetstone, creating its HAMON.

This sword has superior cutting performance with a standard blade body width and a strong blade edge.

This sword makes nice noises when slicing through the air during Iaido training due to its well designed grooves.

GOLD BAMBOO DO is well suited to beginning Kendo trainers and collectors that are looking for an affordable sword with superior performance characteristics.
